Description
In a time when the terms polycrisis, chronicity, and permacrisis are consolidated as paradigms of contemporaneity, the approach to disasters needs to be even more than critical. In light of this, the publication addresses the complexity of post-emergency territories through four “dimensions of the temporary”, namely the reasons, forms, dwelling, and capital, and in particular proposes a critical reading of post-emergency temporary settlements and architectures. In this way, the possible post-emergency scenarios become the question underlying a plural and open narrative aimed at recognizing the capital of the temporary in its reasons and forms as much as in its ways of life.
