Description
The background of this book is the current cognitive transition that design and planning disciplines undergo as they abandon the concept of territory to embrace that of the landscape. In this sense, the book, therefore, addresses the conflicts of the fourth world, the fourth power of the mass media, and the fourth state of militancy. From the particular perspective of the publication, conflicts appear as an engine of socio-cultural innovation, mass media the key condition of postmodernity, and militancy the prerequisite to transform the inhabited space.
