Description
The book collects the outcomes of the research Sustainable Energy Design, which dealt with technology and energy for developing a new code for sustainable urban structures. In particular, the book presents the design of Automotive Innovation Campus in Val di Sangro, which represents the most practical and complete application of a context-sensitive production type, where strong natural characters integrate a contemporary industrial center within an energy-efficient eco-park. This project won an international competition in 1998 and was selected for the 13° Biennale di Venezia.
