Description
The city of “L ‘Altro Adige” is at the same time a path of reading, a prefiguration, and a vision. This book, and the research it summarizes, returns an investigation of knowledge that moves from the hydroelectric landscapes of Trentino and relaunches a broader reflection on the relationships between waterways and human settlements. The basic assumption of the narration and description is based on a double path: the state of the art of the main river system is constructed, hypotheses of landscape transformations are returned through the project. Architecture and landscape are a synthesis of knowledge and visions, the project is intended as an action that interprets the present and translates the instances of change into architecture, new spaces, relationships between natural and artificial.
