Description
Today Venice is facing major problems, such as the overload of tourists and a declining population, or the dilemmas caused by rising tides and structural deterioration, while it is to be hoped that the city does not become in all respects a theme park. The book contains the answers of the UNSW – University of New South Wales workshops to these questions, with particular attention to the fact that housing may be successfully re-integrated into the Venetian environment, without sacrificing the overwhelming historical heritage.
