Julio Lafuente, a Spanish-French-Italian architect, had a fascinating life. In the 1950s, after a long trip, he came to Rome riding a Vespa motorcycle. In the Italian capital, his career started with a series of houses in the roman litoral or urban residences. He went on with a series of important commissions from the like of the Vatican and the Onassis family. Then, in the 1980s, he designed one of the most technological buildings of Italy at the time.
