Michael Jakob teaches landscape aesthetics and theory at HEPIA and HEAD in Geneva, at the Politecnico di Milano and at the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio. He edits the international journal Compar(a)ison and the series “di monte in monte” (Edizioni Tarara’). In recent years he has published: Dall’alto della città (Lettera 22, 2017), Des jardins & des livres (MetisPresses, 2018), What is Landscape? (ListLab, 2018), Prises de vue (MetisPresses, 2019), Paysage et technologie (b2, 2019) and L’architettura del paesaggio (Silvana Editoriale, 2020). He is curator of international exhibitions and author of documentaries.
