Description
The book is the result of critical research on the new operational fields of design, recognized and described in relation to the challenges that today’s society is about to face. The research has identified four key challenges, debated through three different perspectives, namely the description of the design principles, the analysis of case studies that highlight tools and practices, the critical mapping that organizes the relation of different experiences. The book presents more than 80 case studies described through ‘cards,’ finally structured in four conceptual maps.
