Architect, designer and PhD. From 1990 to 1997, he was the coordinator of the Domus Academy Research Center, and from 2004 to 2007 the first director of the DA Master in Business Design. Since 1995 he is a researcher at Politecnico di Milano and a professor of Industrial Design in the Design School. His activities are focused on sensorial design, new materials and technologies, and design strategy. After the experience of senior design consultant at Philips Design (1998-2001), in 1999 he funded Total Tool, a design network (Milan, Buenos Aires and Tokyo) consulting and designing new business ideas, exhibitions. He’s author of a number of books about innovation practice: Children, space, relationship (1997), Oggetti esistibili (2005), Design epigenetic (2009), Design Storytelling (2011), Awareness Design (2012).
