Alfredo Ramírez è un architetto e co-fondatore di Groundlab, il collettivo di design che esplora il regno di urbanistica paesaggio. Ha studiato architettura presso le Universidad Iberoamericana di Città del Messico, e ha completato il programma di AA Paesaggio Urbanistica laurea nel 2005. Ha praticato in diversi studi di architettura e le istituzioni a Città del Messico, Madrid e Londra su progetti di progettazione architettonica e urbana, come il masterplan olimpica per il 2012. Attualmente sta anche collaborando allo sviluppo di progettazione urbana progetti su larga scala con Fundacion Metropoli – un ente urbano con sede a Madrid che contribuire all’innovazione e allo sviluppo delle città e delle regioni da una prospettiva globale.
Alfredo Ramírez BArch AALU MA is an architect and co-founder of Groundlab. He studied Architecture in Mexico City, and the AA graduate programme Landscape Urbanism in 2005. He has practised in several architectural offices and institutions in Mexico City, Madrid and London where he has concentrated in architectural and urban design projects like the Olympic master plan for London 2012. At Groundlab he has won and developed several competitions, workshops, exhibitions and projects, including winning entry for Longgang City international competition masterplan and the ongoing developing of the international horticultural exhibition project in Xian due to open in April 2011. Alfredo is also a studio master of the Landscape Urbanism Design Master at the Architectural Association and and has lectured on the topic of Landscape Urbanism and the work of Groundlab in Italy, Mexico, China, UK, Venezuela, and collaborates with Fundacion Metropoli –an urban Institution based in Madrid Spain that contribute from a global perspective, to the innovation and development of cities and regions- where he is involved in the design development of several urban large scale project.
