Julio Lafuente, a Spanish-French-Italian architect, had a fascinating life. In the 1950s, after a long trip, he came to Rome riding a Vespa motorcycle. In the Italian capital, his career started with a series of houses in the roman litoral or urban residences. He went on with a series of important commissions from the like of the Vatican and the Onassis family. Then, in the 1980s, he designed one of the most technological buildings of Italy at the time. The book tells about his first works, his artistry, and design, until his visionary proposals, the like of the city without traffic. In other words, the publication aims at rendering his works and participation in the Roman Dolce Vita, his passions and visions for an alternative relation of space and life.
